Have community service hours to do and need a place to complete them at? The Trinity County Animal Shelter is one of the many places you are allowed to fulfill your hours at and we would love the help! It doesn't matter if you have 4 hours or 40 hours, you can help out by just contacting the shelter and talking to the Animal Control Officer. She will need to know how many hours you need to complete, if your offence was a violent***, drug related*** or other type of offence (she does not need to know the exact offence, just which one of those three types it was) and then she would schedule days and times for you to come in. When you come in for your hours, please be sure you bring your timesheet so we can have our ACO sign off your hours as you complete them. The work you would be doing during those hours always depends on what we need done at that time. Sometimes it is training our dogs, sometimes it might be cleaning or organizing things or maybe even replanting trees. You never know
*** We do not accept community service workers with violent or drug related charges without approval by the ACO. *** |
