The animal pictures on the templates below are random pictures we used as place holders and are not available for adoption. As of our site going live on 10/10/20, we do not have any animals to be posted on this page yet. Once we have a couple up, this notice will be removed.
The animals on this page are adoptable through their current owners, please do not contact the shelter about these animals. The current owner's contact information is on the animal's post.
There are a lot of animals in Trinity County and our tiny little shelter is unfortunately unable to house all of the stray and unwanted pets. If you have a pet that you are unable to keep and would like to rehome them, we offer this page to assist. All you have to do is fill out the application on this page so we can get some information about your pet, after it is approved, we will ask for you to bring you pet in for a temperament test evaluation. If they pass the test, we will ask for as many pictures of them as you can give us and we will post them here. These animals will stay up for a period of one month unless we hear from you that you still have the animal and would like to stay on our website. If we do not hear from you and your animal is removed but you still have them, you will need to reapply.

I am a very good dog though! I love long walks, retrieving sticks for you and snuggling with the family four year old. I'm scared of the kitty as she beats me up if I get too close. I am up to date on all my vaccinations, microchipped and licensed with Trinity County so if I accidentally go chasing after a squirrel and get lost, people will know where to return me to. I have been with my family for XXX years so being rehomed might be a bit scary for me so I kindly ask for a little bit of time and space to get myself adjusted to all the new smells, new people, your furry family and your house.
